The Number One Interview Question

If you have ever participated in an interview, it"s highly likely you"ve been asked this question just before the end of the interview, "So do you have any questions for us?" More than likely, in response to this question you"ve probably done what most people do and responded, "No, not that I can think of." Wrong answer! While there are many possible questions you could ask, I recently came across a great suggestion. In Dan O" Connor"s Professional Communication podcast, he suggests you ask the following million dollar question at the end of every interview, "What reservations do you have, or reasons why you might not give me this job?" This question just blew my mind when I heard it because it"s so powerful and relevant. By asking this question, you"ve forced the hiring manager to open up to you. Psychologically, they will feel compelled to describe to you any shortcomings they may have noted in the interview. This is gold for you because not only does it tell you what you need to address, but it also gives you an opportunity to address it right there, while you"re still at the interview. What this does it it prevents those afterthought moments we all have where we second guess ourselves with thoughts of, "I should have said that", and the like. ÷

During the question and answer segment, nod when there is a positively respond or answer given by the interviewer or when they have finished every sentence to let them know that you are a good listener. Crossing your arms is a no-no as it makes you appear hostile and nervous to the interviewer.


The Dialysis Nurse Jobs Are Available

A dialysis nurse is a person who is responsible for caring for patients who suffer from kidney problems.Ò 

Once the patientò€™s kidney starts to require dialysis, the chances are that they will continue to need it until the patient gets a new kidney. Now the chances of getting a new kidney are quite slim because there are many people willing to donate one of their kidneys. There is a long list, of patients waiting for kidneys. This list is set up by all the hospitals in the country. Once on the list it may take quite some time before you get one. If you are lucky, you may get a donation from a relative to save you from the dialysis. However, sometimes the new kidney may be rejected by the body and its back to dialysis.

With the chances of the patients getting a new kidney being difficult, there is the need for nurses to take care of them. Dialysis is a rather costly process but it means life and death to the sufferers so it has to go on for the patients to continue living. Due to the severity and impact of the process, many hospitals are willing to pay wonderful compensations to nurses to take up the roles. Therefore, if you are a dialysis nurse, then there are many nurse jobs out there that you need to apply for in order to help in the dialysis process.

In the dialysis nurse jobs, is the option of becoming a travel nurse. This is where you can take up the positions in different hospitals. You will be required to spend certain periods in certain hospitals and care centers before being moved to the other. You will be moved from one hospital to the other depending on the hospitalsò€™ need for dialysis nurses. This is a well paying position that you can take into consideration especially if you are single and you like traveling.

Since the dialysis jobs are specific, they are not that difficult to handle. All you need to know is how to conduct a proper dialysis. This is unlike other med jobs that require you to look after as much as six patients at once. In the dialysis job, once you have conducted the dialysis on the patients you may not have to see them for a while. Do not hesitate to apply for the different nurse jobs for there are many benefits in store for you.
