Network Administrator Job Description
What are the job responsibilities of a network administrator?As a qualified network administrator he has the job responsibilities and functions of the following types in any office:
> He would have to support, manage, and ensure smooth operation capacity of both LAN and WAN networks in both wired and wireless for the hours of operation.
> He has to ensure network administrator, act as the situation manager, repair and reform the unplanned events that adversely affect the network or the computing environment.
> He or she has to ensure perfect installation of hardware and software in the computes, have network upgrades, install and re-install, change and relocate all the components in the office that are required for smooth operation.
> You also have to troubleshoot the computing systems, applications, networks and also identify malfunctions and correct them as well as other operational difficulties. One has to install, investigate and also recommend procedures that would regulate the network availability.
> You have to plan, implement your planning security, including setting up of firewall, manage host security, apply cryptography and network application and regulate tile permissions in the network.
Besides the above mentioned responsibilities he or she has to provide job training to the new staff in the department make them aware of the network and also training them where to troubleshoot on specific problems and also to provide computer orientation to new staff.
