There is a plethora of information available to you that are considered as public record. Basically, search for public records will let you obtain information that is available to the general public for anyone to use, and is generally free to use as well. At times, you may also obtain public offender records, public access criminal records and others. However, you may need to do some research to find the right information you need, and if you want to use the information on a website, you will need to be able to use it properly.


How To Prepare For Your Interview

The following are some interview tips for candidates that will guide them in their interview preparation.    These tips involved 6 steps to take for a successful interview.

Step 1:

*Learn about the Interview Format. It will be easier to make preparation if you know about the format of the interview.  This is to help you achieve better performance during the interview.

*Ask how long the interview will be. This helps you to anticipate the pacing of the meeting.

*Ask who you will be meeting with. Be sure you know the name and title of the interviewer(s). Check also the organization"s website for additional information.

*Ask whether there"ll be more than one interviewer or meeting that day.

*Learn how the Interview will take place.

*Learn about the Dress Code. Know the dress code and make sure you are appropriately dressed and have the right accessories to wear to the interview.

Step 2: Research. Try to learn matters that concern your situation.

*Self-assessment. Do some self-assessment to identify the type of job and employer that is best for you.

*Research the Employer.  Get more information about the employer.

*Research the Job. If you don"t already have a full job description from the employer, ask for one or check the HR section of their website.

*Evaluate Your Results. Do you think you"re really qualified for the job? And is the job right for you?

Step 3: Prepare Questions and Answers.  Listen attentively to the interviewer.

*Prepare Questions to Expect. For the job interview question and answer, the best preparation that you can do is to develop a list of anticipated questions.

*Prepare Answers to the Anticipated Questions. Make sure that your answers are concise and unscripted enough in which the tone is conversational.  Make simple outlines and bullet points rather than long ones.

*Prepare Questions to Ask.   Be sure that you prepare some intelligent questions related to the job.

*Practice the Questions and Answers.  It will help you if you practice in front of a mirror with a friend or career counselor who will give you constructive feedback about your performance.

Step 4: Prepare Evidence of Past Performance to Support Your Claim. Be prepared to describe previous work that demonstrates your strengths for the job and your skills and abilities.

*This includes your resume and performance reviews or professional references.

Step 5: The Day Before the Interview. Gather and prepare the materials you should take with you for the interview.

Step 6: The Day of the Interview. Try your best to put all your preparation into practice.

*Before Leaving for the Interview.  Wear the appropriate dress.  Be sure you are well-dressed and well-groomed for the interview.

*On the Road

*Be on time.

*If you arrived late, dont give up.

*Turn off distracting devices before arriving at the meeting place such as cell phone.

*Being There

*Project yourself well. Wait patiently and calmly. Avoid chewing gum.

*Be amiable by greeting with a smile the people in the workplace.
