A Typical Day in the Life of Wedding Planner and Mum
Â8am ð€“ my eldest is on the school bus and I am getting the twins ready to take them in the car (all three lunches are down by now).
Â
8.45am ð€“ I am on my way to my first appointment of the day with my laptop under my arm (probably a visit to a venue or cake designer). I always try to make the first appointment something fun and interesting to get me motivated for the rest of the day.
Â
11.30am - I am on my way to my second appointment (usually something more down-to-earth, like a printer or caterer), grabbing lunch on the run or if I"m really clever, having lunch with clients to kill two birds with one stone. I always book my last appointment of the day no later than 1pm as I have to be at the school for three o"clock.
Â
3pm - I have to be at the school...to pick up the twins and be home in time to meet my eldest off the school bus.
Â
4pm - I am preparing dinner and spending time with the children. I let my daughter help me if it"s something simple.
Â
5pm - My husband is home and we all eat dinner together and talk about our busy day.
Â
6.30pm If I need to I can pop out to meet a client and leave my husband to bath and put the kids to bed. It really helps them to bond and stops my husband taking my parenting for granted!
Â
9pm ð€“ Returnð€¦for a relaxing coffee and chat with my wonderful husband, a chance to unwind from my exciting day, before crashing out for the night.
Â
This would then repeat the next day if all the kids are at school or nursery, if not I would normally catch up on emails, designs, research and paperwork as well as entertaining the twins.
